It's here, summer has definitely arrived in Paris. The sun is shining, half of the Parisians are getting ready to leave their apartments, the birds are singing, and above all, it's warm. Very warm. Too warm? Fortunately, we've found you a lovely outdoor pool that's accessible all summer long for 100% free. So, are you ready to dive in?

With the warmth in the air, all we dream of is one thing: a big, refreshing pool to dive into over and over to fight against the heatwave taking over Paris. Luckily, the capital not only offers us a number of îlots de fraîcheur, but also gives us the chance this year to enjoy a free outdoor pool. Head over to the 18th district at the Centre Sportif des Poissonniers.


Guaranteed Success

For several years now, this must-visit sports venue in the north of the city opens its doors every summer to offer us a precious relaxation space: a removable pool, etc.

installed by the City of Paris and the 18th District Town Hall, much to our delight. From Saturday, July 5 to Sunday, August 17, this paradise on earth welcomes you for a break away from the heat and the hustle and bustle of the city.

Just a stone's throw from the Porte de Clignancourt, this pretty cool spot is part of the Paris-Baignade plan, which includes a number of temporary pools, all free. You can also find the Léo Lagrange sports center in the 12th, Georges Carpentier in the 13th, Louis Lumière in the 20th, the Elizabeth Stadium in the 14th, and even the cult-favorite basin set up at La Villette. And this year, we’re adding the three new swimming spots along the Seine!


Family Activities

Along with this heavenly watering hole, the esp...Ace Sportif offers you a variety of activities to enjoy with friends or buddies. You can choose from badminton, archery, field hockey, basketball, ping-pong, foosball, pickleball, or even trampoline, giving you plenty of options. On site, you can also enjoy a solarium for those looking to perfect their tan without even leaving the streets of the capital. And of course, you'll find the traditional showers and changing cabins, so you can do everything right if you decide to do a few laps during your lunch break. Don't forget your swimsuit!
