Want to breathe, dance, wander, or learn without breaking the bank? Great news: the May bridges are packed with free activities in Paris and the Île-de-France region. From nature and culture to outdoor celebrations, there’s plenty to fill your calendar.

The May holidays are like a secret trick of the calendar: take a few days off, and voilà, more time to escape, explore, or simply enjoy without pressure. But before diving into your exciting adventures, make sure to note: Gare de Lyon will be closed over the weekend of May 1st, so it’s a good idea to check your travel plans in advance to avoid any last-minute hassles, especially if you’re leaving Paris.
