From café-bookstore to café-restaurant
You are probably many to know Le Tram, which was long known as a super friendly café-bookstore on the rue de la Montagne Sainte-Geneviève. And if, in recent months, it has changed a bit, rest assured, it's still worth it. Today, art objects and high-quality products have replaced most of the books on the shelves, and we're not complaining. All the artists and artisans exhibited are carefully chosen and it shows. And since Sandrine also manages Appétit Paris, the culinary bookstore on rue Ferrandi, a little further in the 6th arrondissement, many cookbooks still exist amidst all of this. Phew!

The Best Croque Monsieur in Paris
When it comes to cuisine, we can't recommend any dish on the menu enough. That's because all the products are carefully selected (even if it means trying out 4 suppliers just to choose a walnut oil) to offer only the best - and always at a reasonable price range, which is definitely a huge plus. But still, we especially recommend the iconic croque-monsieur from the house, made with Prince de Paris ham, truffle salt, and a brioche bread even softer than a pillow. It's simple, it's probably one of the best in the capital, and we've tried many. And the good news is that it's the only dish on the menu that you can order all day long, including for breakfast.

A Homey AtmosphereNot to mention the incredible desserts, the amazing hot chocolate made with PLAQ chocolate, and the fantastic extensive wine list, which offers a beautiful selection of natural wines, including some that are tr&eg.rave's pretty names from the city. In short, Tram is a friendly place, with the same smiling team that we are always happy to see. It offers quality dishes, especially seasonal ones, where each ingredient is carefully chosen from quality suppliers. And it's a place full of charm, where you can spend hours, from the first meal of the day to the aperitif, reading a good book or enjoying the welcoming atmosphere of this place where you feel truly at home.
