In the bustling landscape of Parisian dining, Sélune is a true refuge. Nestled in a charming building on rue de Montreuil, this lovely restaurant transports us elsewhere, somewhere between Normandy and the travel memories of its chef, Bérangère Fagart. Here, ecoresponsible cuisine isn't just marketing talk but a heartfelt commitment. All of this comes without any fuss, with a generosity that is felt both on the plate and in the warm welcome.

A Norman bubble in the heart of Paris

If Sélune impresses with its cuisine, it equally charms with its ambiance. From the moment you step inside, a unique atmosphere wraps around you: stone walls, whitewashed beams, and soft, filtered light evoke a seaside home, a cozy refuge where friends gather around a large table. The mezzanine overlooking the main dining area, the intimate little alcoves, the comfortable benches…

haque recoin tells a story, that of a place filled with a unique energy, just like its chef.

Inspired by her childhood in Normandy and her adventures around the world, Bérangère Fagart creates bold cuisine, where land and sea meet perfectly. A tribute to her homeland that is reflected even in the name of the restaurant: Sélune, a small river in Manche that flows into the.

baie du Mont-Saint-Michel.

A lively and intuitive kitchen

Here, there are no starched tablecloths or unnecessary staging. The cuisine speaks for itself: precise, inventive, and deeply rooted in its region. The menu follows the rhythm of the seasons and arrivals, highlighting carefully chosen products from dedicated producers. Its plates reflect a commitment to sustainable cuisine, while allowing for a bold and spontaneous spirit.

You might find yourself pleasantly surprised by a plate artfully arranged around the cep mushroom as you start your meal, before diving into a deliciously roasted pigeon filet, accompanied by sunchokes, za'atar, and pomegranate. For fish lovers, the chef reinvents coastal cuisine with beautifully crafted dishes like Granville scallops (one of her signature ingredients), served with pumpkin puree, tagetes, citrus, and passion fruit. And to finish on a sweet note, the love madeleines with their indulgent chocolate sauce are a delightful treat to enjoy without restraint.

While the menu changes regularly, Bérangère Fagart is committed to consistently offering a veggie, meat, and fish option in both starters and main courses. But what truly stands out is the accessibility of the offerings. With a €28 menu that includes a starter, main course, and dessert for lunch, you can indulge without breaking the bank.

an achievement considering the quality of the dishes.

Bérangère Fagart, a free and committed chef

While her appearance on Top Chef made her visible to the public, the essence of Bérangère Fagart lies elsewhere. Self-taught, she has navigated through theatre, electronic music, and the culinary world before deciding to settle her knives at home in Sélune. But the chef is far from stopping there. As a co-president of the Ecotable community, she advocates for sustainable and responsible dining, mindful of the environment and the people working in this field. She even welcomes events at her restaurant, like Le Relais des chef·fes, a 5-day culinary marathon that gathered nearly 30 chefs for the Paralympic Games. She is also the founder of the initiative Let’s Sustainably Feed Students, which aims to finance quality meals for students in need by inviting chefs and restaurateurs each week to cook meals for them.

You’ll get it, Sélune is so much more than just a restaurant; it’s a place that breathes passion, commitment, and authenticity. Spending time at Sélune guarantees You leave feeling satisfied, happy, and with just one desire: to come back.
