A bit of funk at the start of this gray autumn. With Papafunk, the food truck that livens up the 13th, your taste buds will tease the sun and your legs will dance from noon to night. And why not? In this yummy van, it's Jeff who treats us to Caribbean specialties and funk music just the way we love it. Meet us on the plaza of Mk2 Bibliothèque!

The Funky Soul of the 13th

Jeff is a lover of life and good things. After spending years working as a RATP agent, crossing paths with the toughest souls in the city - yes, we know it’s a stereotype - he decided to take the plunge and open a food truck that reflects his spirit, blending Caribbean flavors and great music. Without hesitation, he decided to paint an old van a bright orange, fill it with his records and pots and pans, before setting up in early 2025 right in the heart of the 13th to delight and entertain everyone passing by.

Accralicous & more

« I call them Accralicious because my accras are delicious. I put my heart and love into them. » And that’s a guarantee! With Papafunk, the chef-DJ serves us the Caribbean cuisine of his childhood, inspired by his mother, «an exceptional cook », he tells us. On the menu? Only fresh ingredients, plus sauce chien, along with super generous sandwiches, and of course, mind-blowing accras. Jeff even whipped up his own remixed recipe: instead of the typical cod or shrimp fritters, he prepares chicken and carrot accras every day, with a hint of "come back for more" that makes them totally addictive.

« Before, I shared music, now I share food, and it’s the same joy when I see the eyes light up, when someone bites into the sandwich or the accra, and says to me: "This is really good." I’m happy, I don’t need more. » And we didn’t need more than that to become fans too!totally hooked on Papafunk. Go for it!
