Today, we're excited to introduce you to Hectar, a little hidden treasure that's sure to tickle your taste buds. Headed by Benjamin Schmitt, a former sous-chef at L'Oiseau Blanc, this restaurant serves up classic French dishes with an exciting twist that will leave you feeling delighted. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Pigalle, Hectar is where culinary mastermind Benjamin Schmitt, previously of the Peninsula Hotel's L'Oiseau Blanc when it held two Michelin stars, shines. With a background that includes stints at renowned establishments like Taillevent, Yannick Alléno's Le Meurice, the famous L'Office, and other exclusive venues, Benjamin Schmitt's refined skills are a standout. This autumn, our top recommendation is Benjamin Schmitt.

It's April 2023, and after years of working for top chefs, our chef has decided to open his own restaurant: Hectar. This cozy spot offers delicious and affordable French cuisine, celebrating the finest delicacies. Fun fact: the restaurant used to be a swinger club, but now it's buzzing with the chef's culinary creations. One thing hasn't changed though: sharing good food is still a must!

Imagine stepping into a place filled with clean and elegant decor: tiled walls, vintage wooden chairs, and antique light fixtures that were found while hunting. Nothing more was needed to bask in the warm atmosphere. 🍽️ A gourmet and affordable menu awaits! Pâté en croûte, pistou soup with black Bigorre pork belly, crispy sweetbread with creamy mashed potatoes, glazed wild mushroom gnocchi, warm Vosges quail salad... a celebration of French terroir and seasonal products. Poultry from Arnaud Tauzin, green vegetables from the South of France, onions, garlic, and shallots from Île-de-France. The 5-course tasting menu (with reservation) for 69€ highlights the chef's talent, while the Castelnaudary cassoulet is simply divine. 🤤 Get ready for a colorful and vibrant Instagram post with lots of emojis and happy vibes! The background is white and there are cute little round shapes. 🌈🌟🥂es and lines that make you smile. The overall look is playful and fun, perfect for spreading joy and positivity.
