The Editor

Temperatures are rising, the sun is shining, sandals are coming out... It's time to go and taste all the ice creams in the capital. Our latest favorite? Café Isaka and its ice cream flavors inspired by Asia, all just a few steps away from the prestigious BnF Richelieu and the Palais Royal garden.

Flavors from elsewhere

In this ice cream parlor, there's no time to linger over typical vanilla-strawberry-chocolate scoops. It's all about discovery with flavors from elsewhere. In total, you'll find nearly 18 flavors inspired by Asia: white rabbit candy (a Chinese iconic candy similar to condensed milk), black sesame, Thai tea, passion fruit, azuki beans, milk black tea, pandan, peanut, banana, Vietnamese coffee, Japanese Asahi beer... You just have to choose! The added bonus? Everything is homemade (and delicious).

In a cup, in a cone, in mochi, fried...

In addition to offering us original flavors, Café Isaka prepares our treats in different forms. Of course, we can indulge in a cup or a cone, as usual. But we can also wrap our ice cream ball in a sticky rice leaf for an instant mochi to devour in seconds. The second specialty of the place? Fried ice cream! Our ice cream ball is delicately coated with Japanese Panko, fried on the spot and topped with our choice of toppings. Absolutely DELICIOUS!
