Are you looking for a cozy place that will finally please everyone? Look no further! Here, the concept is simple: we create our own platter from an excellent selection of local products. And then, we indulge ourselves. Following the success of the first four Parisian locations, 17.45 has just settled in Chemin Vert with Paul at the helm. Right from the entrance, he welcomes you with a big smile and a special menu. Because here, you are the artist!
Local Cheese and Charcuterie Delights
Once cozy in one of the plump, comfy sofas or at one of the tall tables, Paul shares a guide with us that explains the story behind each little gem, along with a selection of charcuterie and cheese to choose from… We learn that Timanoix - a true favorite - is made in a Breton abbey and has been rubbed with walnut liqueur, giving it a unique flavor. And that the spicy Morcilla is a dried Spanish blood sausage from Salamanca. You'll be a true expert in no time! For those who are undecided, several pre-planned platters are offered based on the number of guests.
But also for the veggies...
Because we're not (just) savages, we also check off some seasonal raw veggies and spreads. Onion confit or black cherry jam to elevate your cheese toast, pickles for your rillettes, tapenade, nuts, or even carrots and cucumbers to refresh your palate. We're also big on reducing waste: "We're trying to minimize waste as much as possible, choosing local and seasonal products, the bread and vegetables come from neighborhood shops, all of this contributes to a voluntary eco-friendly approach," Paul tells us.
We wash it all down with some lovely drinks, of course, carefully selected by the chef. Wines from small producers and also some great craft beers. Want a sweet touch to wrap up this culinary experience beautifully? Just one piece of advice: don’t leave without trying the homemade desserts, we absolutely loved the lemon meringue!;(they alone hold the secret recipe).
With generosity and warmth as the key themes, 17.45 offers seasonal delights that will melt your heart with joy. Right now, we're indulging in all-you-can-eat fondue (€22) every Monday, plus raclette, and rich, creamy roasted camembert with pesto and garlic, or truffle. Pure bliss for your taste buds!
And let's not forget the brunch menu, featuring all the delicious products from 17.45, available on Saturdays and Sundays!
