The Laughter Festival of Bordeaux: A Reference Since 2017
With 25,000 spectators per year, the Laughter Festival of Bordeaux has become the unmissable event at the beginning of spring. It returns from March 16 to 23 with the same winning formula that combines big names in comedy, rising talents, and wild after-parties. Organized by Euterpe Promotion, the festival will celebrate its 8th anniversary in style.
Today's Stars and Tomorrow's Talents
The lineup includes dizzying stars like Mr. Poulpe, Waly Dia, Aymeric Lompret, Nordine Ganso, Philippine Delaire, Manu Payet, and Maxime Gasteuil. The top artists who regularly sell out venues are eagerly anticipated.
Behind this program that seems obvious to live entertainment enthusiasts, the teams are working hard to diversify and make sure to surprise the audience by renewing their guests every year. With the exception of a few familiar faces, every lineup promises something new and exciting.Aymeric Lompret, like the unofficial godfather of the festival, always there for each edition.
A wandering journey destined to conquer France
As usual, the festival aims to be a wandering journey. The performances will take place in 7 different venues. From le Fémina, to the Casino Barrière, passing through the Trianon or the Théâtre Molière. With its success, the festival promises to step up a gear from 2025 and expand even further (possibly duplicating in other parts of France).
Fun nights to showcase emerging comedians
Another highlight of the festival? The showcase nights scheduled on Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22 at the Nouvelle Comédie Gallien. The concept? Allowing all spectators to become judges for one evening dedicated to discovery. The young talents will take the stage while the audience will have to choose the most talented one. The winner will have the honor of performing as the opening act of the Closing Ceremony on the stage of the Théâtre Femina. The two nights will be presented and hosted by the renowned comedian and magician Clément Blouin.
Wild parties and DJ sets for the after-show
And what would the festival be without its traditional OFF nights? With the intention of ending each evening in style, the teams have organized post-show parties that are top-notch. By surrounding themselves with the cream of the Bordeaux electronic music scene and taking over legendary party spots, the program is dizzying. Comedy Club at the Moxy, DJ set from the local collective CIAO! Soundsystem, wild and colorful party alongside Meryl Street, Sevenbeatz & Marge from the La Sueur collective, or a crazy party with 45 Tours mon amour... 5 dizzying nights are planned at the festival village in the stunning Cour Mably to end on a high note.
