Generally, the back to school season always comes with its fair share of surprises, and this year is no exception! And it's in the world of music that the twists and turns are the most numerous. The latest? The announcement of a surprise European tour by the British singer Ed Sheeran. For his first date, the city of Paris has been chosen!

A new album set for September
He’s back! After a fantastic time in Marseille and Lille in June 2025, Ed Sheeran is getting ready to return to France. On December 1st, the artist will perform at the Zénith de Paris - La Villette to share with fans the songs from his new album Play, which is set to be released on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Ticket sales opening next week
For this tour, the artist has chosen smaller venues. Gone are the days of the Vélodrome in Marseille or the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium in Lille… instead, we’ll be welcoming them at places like the Zénith in Paris - La Villette, Olympiahalle in Munich, Building Society Arena in Coventry, Co-op Live in Manchester, or even the 3Arena in Dublin, where the performer of "Shape of You", "Thinking Out Loud", or "Perfect" will take the stage in December.
To try and grab some tickets, make sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 9, 2025 starting at 11 AM for the presale, and Thursday, September 11 for the official sale. The artist will then kick off their world tour Loop in Australia, starting in January 2026.
