The sacred and oh-so-holy festival season is almost here! Everyone is eagerly waiting for the start, traditionally kicked off in early June at the Bois de Vincennes with the engaging pop sounds of We Love Green, followed by Solidays, Lolla Palooza, the Vieilles Charrues, Terres du Son and other musical events that have become essential for night owls. They often find the grass greener on the other side, especially in Belgium, which once again hosts the Dour, a massive European festival that needs no introduction!
This is the third time the author of these lines is heading there for her outrageous alternative scenes, her diverse guests, the free spirits that make up her audience, in short, her inimitable energy, and she’s determined to pass on the party virus to her readers by starting to reveal the line-up, which is, of course, epic (as is often the case, it’s the hallmark of the venue).

Day by day, stars...
A signature guided by a clear vision (don’t take this as an obscure reference to Glucksmann): booking both established giants and emerging artists. For the first group, it kicks off on Wednesday, July 16, with Kalash, who will light up The Last Arena with his blazing dancehall, while the duo Kompromat will shower festival-goers with their new wave vibes. On Thursday, July 17, British grime will reach new heights with Stormzy. Also on the lineup is the young Théodora, who has beautifully blended influences from around the world. Friday the 18th will bring a more eclectic day featuring the rock sounds of La Femme, the rap of SDM, the beats of Sarah Landry, and the dreamy melodies of Anetha.
The next day, the band Parcels will shine with their electro-funk pop outdoors, before Pabllo Vittar turns up the heat on the main stage with a s
how queer décomplexé. To wrap up the festival in style, Charlotte de Witte will deliver her sharp techno beats at De Balzaal, while Hamza will lay down his sweet autotune on the plains of Dour, just before the Japanese artist ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U serves up a wild mix.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
… and some new faces !
But beyond the well-established artists, Dour never disappoints when it comes to presenting its discerning audience with fresh streaming talents. On Wednesday, we’ll be counting on Antwerp DJ NOVAH, joining Nico Moreno's takeover, to energize the crowds with some psy-trance vibes. On Thursday, we’ll enjoy a lovely jazz interlude thanks to bassist Kuna Maze, a master of improvisation. Our other favorites include Candeur Cyclone, a Franco-Belgian couple who gained recognition on TikTok, Martha Da’ro and her clever blend of soul/hip-hop/funk, as well as Camille Yembe, who wisely sings about society's flaws in a sweet mix of pop and indie. A lineup to look forward to, for a crazy new edition ! e">
