Every summer, the same ritual. Heading to Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer in Normandy for three days off the grid. Here, we let it all go: pressure, notifications, schedules. And this year, the lineup promises to be solid enough to keep you dancing non-stop!

An Amazing Lineup

At Pete, the programming is designed like a playlist that you’ll want to listen to on repeat! Among the first names: Sébastien Tellier, always unpredictable, Camille Yembe, a new voice to watch closely, and Tshegue, whose live performances are known for exciting the crowds.

Alongside them, Kids Return, Blasé, Fulu Miziki, and Marlon Magnée (La Femme) are setting the stage for a fantastic weekend. And as always, Pete also throws in some lesser-known but equally delightful names like Billie, Lavomatic, Radio Free Alice, Nusantara Beat... You come for a few artists and leave with a whole bunch!

Sea, forest, dancefloor

Here, the decor isn't just a detail. It's part of the experience. A few minutes from the sea, surrounded by fields and woods, the festival offers a true world of its own: Planet Pete. You can jump from a concert, chill on the grass, and then enjoy a DJ set in the middle of the trees, and do it all over again. No concrete, no feeling of being suffocated: everything breathes. And it changes everything: especially after a year spent in Paris.

A Whole World of Its Own

Pete isn’t just about the music, and that’s what makes it so irresistibly addictive. In between concerts, you might stumble upon a stand-up show, a performance, a workshop, or an art installation. There’s also a nice wellness corner featuring yoga, ecstatic dance, saunas, or cold baths. For those who want to dive deeper, a tent hosts talks about ecology, nature, or activism. And yes, you can even get married in Pete's world!

A Committed Festival

Behind the fun, there's a real project. Pete the Monkey Festival is supported by a nonprofit organization dedicated to biodiversity protection, particularly through an animal refuge in the Amazon. But more importantly, it translates into concrete actions on site: measured carbon impact, efforts on transportation, and 100% vegetarian catering in 2026. All of this without any guilt-tripping.

And where to sleep on site ?

At Pete the Monkey, there are several sleeping options available and they are definitely part of the experience. The most adventurous can choose the festival camping, just a stone's throw from the stages. Simple, effective, and perfect for staying immersed from morning to night (and vice versa).

If you want a bit more comfort without losing the spirit of the place, head to the tipi village: pre-set tents, mattresses, and a bohemian vibe... the perfect compromise between roots and comfort.

Finally, for those who love...You can join the road trip in a camper van or van, with a dedicated space. In any case, sleeping on-site really allows you to fully experience Pete without constraints, without schedules, just at the rhythm of the festival!

Pete the Monkey is that delightful intimate festival that we hesitate to recommend too much for fear of it getting too popular… But let’s be honest: if you could attend just one festival this summer, it’s clearly this one. Still unsure?
