Over 2,000 lanterns, up to 16 meters high
During these two months, more than 2,000 lanterns will decorate the green alleys of the garden. Some form giant luminous structures that can reach 16 meters in height, like true works of art, created by dozens of skilled artisans from the Shanghai Yuyuan Garden, some of whom have traveled to Paris for several weeks. Each lantern was created, painted, and assembled on site. Hats off to the artist.

The entrance of the park sets the tone, enhanced by an immense structure in the shape of a Chinese temple. Once past the ticket booth, you will be greeted by ten columns of dragons, imposing and colorful, reminiscent of the Chinese New Year parades (traditionally celebrated on February 10). You will then embark on a walk that will transport you deep into the heart of Asian culture.Unique atmosphere among fantastical creatures, some friendly, others scary, but all radiating with colors. You'll come across dozens of animals, enchanted deer, gigantic turtles, and rediscover the biodiversity specific to the Celestial Empire. Animations and shows every evening to brighten up your night and extend the festivities. About thirty stands have been set up, like a mini Chinatown. The program includes Chinese craft workshops, demonstrations of dances and folk songs, shows (dance, concert, acrobatics, fire-eating), and even martial arts initiations.
