Emulation, thrills, creativity, solidarity: these are the key words of the Olympic Games, which could well infiltrate the Carreau du Temple. Just one month before the Olympics, an event combining sport and art is taking place in its massive 1800m2 hall to explore the intersections between these two multi-faceted disciplines. Five days of performances including choreography, theater pieces and juggling competitions that playfully twist the norms of sports, push the limits of the body, and also of creativity.

A Custom Event for Le Carreau du Temple

Since its opening nearly 10 years ago, Le Carreau du Temple has been showcasing a variety of sports and artistic practices through a rich cultural program of shows, meetings, and festivals, while promoting a committed vision of essential values such as solidarity, inclusivity, and eco-responsibility.

It is in this dynamic spirit that the first edition of the Jogging Festival was organized in 2021, bringing together the two founding pillars of the establishment. Each year, the event innovatively explores the intersections of sports and art, with a fresh and stimulating approach: playful spirit, team spirit, inclusivity, sharing... These are all aspects that you can discover for 5 days, from June 26 to 30.

A multidisciplinary programming

When it comes to shows, there is something for everyone, especially for sports enthusiasts in this Olympic year! Inclusive sports classes, contemporary art installations, participatory workshops, photo exhibitions... Choreographed disciplines staged in a way to create a true artistic performance. Our favorite of the programming? The 2024 creation GOAL, a piece that immerses the audience in the atmosphere of a stadium to dissect the drama of a football match. You will observe the expressions of six dancers experiencing a variety of emotions, from fear to hope, through disappointment and joy. After the Friday night shows, be sure to stick around to catch the house disco pop DJ set of the queen of dance.

cefloors, I named Barbara Butch. His two new hits of 2023, La Noche Vita and Muy Bien, are anthems to the party that promise to ignite the Carreau du Temple!
