No, no, this isn't yet another retrospective on the history of sports or the evolution of tracksuits since ancient times, but a one-of-a-kind event blending sports, live performances, and contemporary art. At the legendary Halle du Carreau du Temple, the Jogging Festival explores the intersections between the three disciplines. For 4 days, the 1800 m² of the main hall hosts performances that challenge and twist sports codes, a roller dance party, sports lessons, participatory workshops, contemporary art installations, and even a massive Brazilian evening to kick things off. In short, a program that invites creativity and self-improvement.

A Tailor-Made Event

Since its opening over 10 years ago, Le Carreau du Temple has continuously showcased a variety of sports and artistic practices, through a Exceptional cultural programming featuring shows, meetings, and festivals of all kinds, while championing a committed vision centered around essential values like solidarity, inclusivity, and eco-responsibility.

It’s within this dynamic that the first edition of the Jogging Festival came to life in 2021, bringing together the two founding pillars of the establishment. Every year, the event returns to creatively and innovatively explore the intersections of sport and art, with a refreshing and stimulating perspective: playful spirit, teamwork, inclusivity, sharing... These are just a few highlights you can discover over 4 days, at the end of May.

Get Ready for Some Sports

And let me tell you, for this 5th edition, the institution has really pulled out all the stops to make sure a maximum number of people have a blast. On the entertainment side, Le Carreau du Temple gives a voice to choreographers and directors who question our relationship with sport, the body, gender, and performance, through unique artistic creations. Our Highlights of this 2025 season? On one hand, Our Abysses, a poignant dance piece that explores the violence inflicted on the body to achieve perfection. On the other hand, The Red Hearts: three men on stage, who challenge the representation of masculinity through the art of pole dance.

On the side of contemporary art, we get to enjoy a big exhibition: sculptures, videos, installations, and photos. First up is The Olympic Laziness, an immersive and interactive installation that reinvents the spirit of the Olympics by flipping its values. Say goodbye to the “Faster, higher, stronger,” as this exhibition celebrates Slower, lower, weaker. Next, we have Jogging, the Exhibition, bringing together 25 works that tell stories about sports, but that's not all! Each piece challenges the human condition and explores the stakes of art in our contemporary world.

Finally, the most energetic among us can try their hand at...Enjoy inclusive and open sports classes for everyone! Pilates, yoga, pole dance, afrovibe dance, Swedish fit, and HIIT. There will also be workshops focused on the themes of smell in sports and the art of poster making. Finally, you can join us on Saturday, May 24 for a discussion around the theme: "Sport, Body, and Gender: Towards New Norms?"Ballet-Jogging-festival-2025-carreau-du-temple-le-bonbon-paris

Open and Close in Style

On Thursday evening, it’s the Brazilian footballer Raí, who played for PSG and is the patron of this edition, that will kick off the festivities with a huge Baile Bom, a fantastic Brazilian evening crafted by him. It's the perfect chance to groove to the sounds of Afro-Brazilian percussion, DJ sets, and samba concerts, watch thrilling freestyle football demonstrations featuring the world champion Mélody Donchet, and be amazed by stunning capoeira-voguing performances, all without leaving Paris!Festival-Jogging-2025-Roller-Dance-Party-carreau-du-temple-le-bonbon-paris

And after setting the bar high with its opening, Le Carreau du Temple will do the same on Sunday, May 25th by inviting you to its traditional roller dance party, which has become a must-attend event of the Festival Jogging. The concept is simple: a continuous skating rink and awesome DJ sets so that both kids and adults can groove all day on wheels!
