Don't be mistaken, it's not just the Cannes Film Festival that takes over the Croisette when the sun comes out to play. Feet in the water, head in the sound
The most anticipated event on the French Riviera is pulling out all the stops for its 18th edition. What’s in store for us? 3 days of celebration, 40,000 m2 of dancefloor, and afterparties that go until 5 AM!
and concerts galore… In short, it’s one of the biggest beach parties in Europe, with amazing headliners that are definitely worth the trip and a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean.See this post on Instagram
Joining the call this summer will be big names from the internationally renowned electronic music scene, like the icon of the networks Peggy Gou and the explosive Belgian Charlotte de Witte. We’ll also see must-see artists like Kungs, Tiesto, Mochakk, Eric Prydz, and Trym.
Agoria and Anetha. But the Plages Électroniques is also an opportunity to see stars from other music genres like Vald, Luidji, or the Duc du 92, Booba (for his only date in the south of France), who will proudly represent French rap on the beaches of Cannes.
A festival that ticks all the boxes
For the past few years, the Plages Électroniques has really aimed to evolve by taking into account the major challenges of our time. To achieve this, the festival has developed a charter to affirm its environmental commitments, and has also implemented safe spaces and the Planet Beaches area, bringing together associations to discuss, exchange, raise awareness, and present their actions.
So, you got it, don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, and swimsuit, because this edition of the Plages Électroniques is set to be really, really hot! And if with all this you’re still not rushing to the site to grab your tickets for 1, 2, or 3 days, what are you waiting for?rs (with or without afters, no judgment here), we don’t really know what else to tell you. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with a little recap of the 2024 edition, just to show you a bit of what you might miss if you don’t go.
