A sublime decor, flickering candles, cult tunes… Halloween has gently established itself in the Parisian landscape since the 90s. A celebration of spirits and the dead, it now finds an unexpected echo in the Candlelight concerts, which reimagine classic spooky tunes in string quartet versions.
Iconic pieces like Danse macabre by Saint-Saëns, the Psycho Prelude, Thriller by Michael Jackson, the theme from Stranger Things, and the one from Ghostbusters resonate under the arches of the most beautiful locations in the capital.

A Haunting Atmosphere, Blending Elegance and Strangeness
The challenge is bold: transforming iconic tunes from horror pop culture into classical pieces without losing their evocative power. The creeping menace of Night on Bald Mountain, the sharp accents of Herrmann, and the eerie nostalgia of Stranger Things come together in a magical musical breath.
In these heritage spaces, every note seems to inhabit the place, and each vibration of the strings sends a chill down your spine. You can imagine it: this is another way to celebrate Halloween, certainly far from costumes and candy, but it promises a suspended moment, elegant and filled with mystery.
