It's the rumor that's setting social media and the entire Internet on fire. Meanwhile, in the streets of Paris, mysterious posters featuring the most iconic songs of Céline Dion have been plastered everywhere. On Monday, March 23, 2026, the Quebec singer shared photos of herself in Paris on Instagram with the message, “I don’t know how to tell you…” That was all it took for fans to get excited and rejoice at the thought of seeing the star perform live this year, after years of absence.

Six years of absence 

According to Le Parisien, it’s at La Défense Arena, the largest venue in Europe, that the singer is set to perform for a series of concerts in the fall of 2026. The last time she performed in France was back in 2017, with one exception: on July 26, 2024, the day of the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games. Céline Dion had captured the world's attention with her performance of « L'Hymne à l'amour» from the top of the Eiffel Tower. 


Tickets on sale this week

Céline Dion was supposed to perform in Paris in 2020, but the Covid-19 pandemic and her health issues led to the cancellation of her European concerts. The star is battling Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare disease she talks about in the documentary I Am: Céline Dion, available on Prime Video. Being on stage, “I miss it so much. I miss the people. If I can’t run, I will walk. If I can’t walk, I will crawl, and I will not stop” she expressed. Will 2026 be the official year of the great Céline Dion's return to the spotlight?
