Nostalgia alert: one of the most iconic French voices from the 2000s is getting ready to sing again, right in the heart of Paris! Amel Bent, who burst onto the scene with the hit "Ma Philosophie" in 2004, is set to give a big free concert under the Canopée du Westfield Forum des Halles this Friday, May 16. It’s the perfect opportunity to promote her eighth album, which she’s excited to unveil after taking a break from the stage for over two years.

Minuit Une, a passionate album about the condition of women
In front of 3,000 people, Amel Bent will perform some of the tracks from her new album, Minuit Une. The press is already calling it a committed, feminist opus, possibly the most personal of her career. The 39-year-old singer explores her role as a woman, a mother, and an artist, and the challenge of juggling all three in her daily life. Managing administrative tasks, pursuing her career, being there for her loved ones, for herself, coping with mental load—she delves into the responsibilities that fall on her, and more broadly, on women of her age. It's a generational album—two songs, "Triste" and "Décharge Mentale", have already been...revealed – which will resonate with many women during this concert.
