For 5 days in June, the most iconic monuments of the Marais are transformed to host the project OMNIprésences sportives. An original and 100% free event that, with the approach of the Olympics, mixes puppetry and sports as part of the Les Grands Marqueurs festival.

While the Cultural Olympiad is in full swing in the capital city, less than 2 months away from the opening ceremony, head to the heart of the 4th (and on the edge of the 3rd, let's not forget) for a series of performances as poetic as they are memorable. Indoors or outdoors, in libraries or museums, it's a unique opportunity to delve into the art of puppetry through the theme of sports. What a lineup! A Spectacular Stroll For 5 days, enjoy 8 original performances, hidden here and there in the historic streets of the Marais. In total, 7 exceptional venues open their doors to you for free: the Carnavalet Museum, the MAIF Social Club, the Hôtel d'Albret, the Historical Library of Paris, the Cognacq-Jay Museum, the Forney Library, and the Medici Gallery. Under the auspices of the Mouffetard, National Center of Puppetry, they invite you to celebrate the Games through a pUnpublished rhyme: that of the puppet show. Every day, you can enjoy a different route to discover the history and architecture of the neighborhood, between two performances.

Get ready for some sports!

8 companies are taking over these spaces with shows as different as they are complementary, to tell you about the history of sports, physical challenges, but also about discipline and the body. And if these sports OMNIpresences (OMNI for Unidentified Puppet Objects) live up to their name, it's because here, puppetry comes in infinite variations, in all forms and colors. Hand or tabletop puppets, object theater, displayed in a showcase or a puppet booth, all means are good to celebrate sports in iconic locations in Paris.

Infinite Fun

Each show, lasting from 10 to 20 minutes, can be performed multiple times a day, giving you total freedom and autonomy in choosing your paths. Soccer, running, horseback riding, cycling, or street dance, all sports are covered, presented in a thousand different ways, always with imagination, creativity, and poetry, to allow everyone to find the performance that will seduce them.
