Away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, tucked away in the Passage du Grand Cerf, Tricote moi un tattoo invites curious minds to explore a world where embroidery and tattooing come together to create unique masterpieces. Caroline and Vadim, a couple both in life and in work, opened their shop in 2020, right in the midst of lockdown. Initially a ready-to-wear brand, the shop quickly specialized in embroidery, which has become its true passion.
A Passionate Couple
Caroline, a trained stylist, designs most of the patterns. Vadim, on the other hand, manages the technical side, never hesitating to get hands-on with the needle. The duo shares a strong love for the world of tattoos, a passion they translate into their embroidered creations: “Just like at a tattoo parlor, our clients can choose from a series of flash designs or bring their own drawing for a more personal project », explains Caroline. T-shirts, denim jackets, sweaters, or even caps… every piece of clothing can be transformed. For complex materials like fine knits or leather, the techniques are adapted: adding fabric to reinforce the embroidery or creating hand-sewn patches.

Beyond custom creations, Tricote moi un tattoo also puts a spotlight on textile repair. « Some customers come to hide a hole or a stain with a design, rather than throwing away their clothing », shares Vadim.
Signature collections and collaborations
Over time, the couple has launched several collections of patterns, often inspired by various themes: curiosity cabinets, astrology, felines... Their universe, both eclectic and poetic, is also enriched by collaborations with tattoo artists. Among them is Parisian tattoo artist Kit, who offers a collection inspired by plants to create your own bouquet to embroider, and artist Waram with his motifs of snakes and more.

As you can see, the possibilities are endless! As we approach the end of the year, Tricote moi un tattoo is getting into the Christmas spirit: gift cards, sparkling brooches, or personalized patterns, everything is crafted to offer original creations. And if you're feeling short on inspiration, Caroline and Vadim are more than happy to help you design a unique embroidered keepsake for yourself or your loved ones.
