« Consume differently, elevate ethics, and appreciate second-hand clothing » is the challenge taken on for the fifth time by BIS Solidaire, setting up its little sister in the 14th. Save the date : starting March 13th, pop in to this second-hand haven and discover the most beautiful pieces sourced from your favorite organizations.

Never 4 without 5

Already passed through Beaugrenelle (15th), BIS Solidaire has chosen to settle in the neighboring district after making its home across the Seine, in the Marais (4th), at Clichy (18th) and Pigalle (9th). This is a new chapter for this must-visit thrift chain with now five locations, but the same concept: since 2012, they’ve been offering a eclectic selection of both modern and vintage clothing to suit all styles. And inclusive, please! Women, men, and children obviously have their own sections!

A human thrift store that does good

If BIS Solidaire stands out from the thrift stores – often overpriced ! – that are everywhere around Châtelet, it’s also due to its social dimension: for Rémi Antoniucci, the manager, it was essential to combine second hand and second chance by employing people in precarious situations

Held by associations, this one-of-a-kind enterprise reinvests its profits directly into solidarity actions. Innovative, it has implemented a responsible sourcing policy by sourcing exclusively from French associations, such as the Red Cross. A commendable approach to reduce its carbon footprint while contributing to the funding of good deeds and inclusive jobs.

70 m2 of vintage gems

Are you already feeling the urge to plan a shopping spree without any moderation? You'll have to wait until mid-March to raid the latest store from BIS Solidaire. But we promise: this lovely contemporary shop, with its 70 m2 and daily restock of 300 references, is worth the wait. Shall we meet there?
