Yellow, red, blue, round, square, or even both… When you step through the door of Optique des Vosges, you find yourself in the temple of extraordinary glasses.

When craftsmanship meets optics

Like a charming wooden dollhouse located just steps from the Place des Vosges, this little boutique, established in 1989, welcomes those “who dream of something different in this somewhat sanitized world,” explains Sabine, co-owner of this family business. Coming from a background in gemology, she teamed up with her brother Éric, a professional in optics, over 30 years ago. Craftsmanship and technique, the perfect blend of two skills to create high-quality glasses that adorn the face like a jewel.

Custom-made to find the perfect frames

Because every pair of glasses is tied to a moment in life, at Optique des Vosges, the service is conducted with a little ceremony, preferably by appointment, to « stay connected and listen » to the customer. Here, there are no high-fashion brands, but rather sparkling and original frames. The collections are mainly chosen based on a whim, « we search for what you won’t find anywhere else ». Among the must-haves: their collection that allows you to choose the shape, size, and color combinations of the glasses, as well as Franswa Creation, a line of 100% customizable wooden frames, handcrafted by one of the store's team members."but in woodworking.

And quality lenses!

When it comes to lenses, they've chosen to partner with Essilor, the world leader, which uses 65 manufacturing steps. The three opticians are also specialists in progressive lenses, low vision, and high correction. Exceptional lenses with exceptional frames, at Optique des Vosges, they take a chance on color and uniqueness, and we love that!
