The Prettiest Thrift Stores in Paris
Buying new is so last season... To help you become the most stylish Parisian, we're taking you on a tour of our favorite thrift stores in the capital. And there’s something for everyone! Vintage, Y2K, streetwear, chic, bohemian... All you have to do is find your style. Plus, you’re making a cool gesture for the planet: a second-hand garment is one less piece bought from a super polluting and often not-so-ethical fast fashion brand.
RETRO
We’ve been dreaming for ages of a place where thrift meets good vibes, uniqueness, and especially honest prices. Fortunately, our superhero RETRO has been around for 4 years now to make our wishes come true. If you haven’t checked it out yet, here’s a spot that will soon be (very) hard to live without. With a spacious layout…; a space of 320 m2 (that’s quite a size!) and beautifully sorted clothes, you can easily wander through the aisles without too much digging. Every piece here is unique and restored. You’ll always find Olena, a Ukrainian painter set up in the latest room of the shop to offer us one-of-a-kind, extraordinary pieces, perfect for making a statement while staying engaged... Doesn’t it sound appealing? At the top floor, you can enjoy a super cool 90s playlist while the basement opens up to a stylish, more underground techno vibe.
But more than just a thrift store, this vintage shop is truly a lively spot because once a month on a Saturday, a tattoo artist sets up for the day and offers us stylish flash tattoos along with an electrifying DJ set from 2 PM to 8 PM, and even longer if the vibe is right! Fabien tells us that he’s still thinking about finding d;other ideas to always surprise us… As you may have guessed, we’ve completely fallen for this Parisian temple of second-hand fashion !
The Vintagelovers
Located just a stone's throw from Saint-Paul, it’s THE perfect shop for vintage treasure lovers! More than just a second-hand store, The Vintagelovers is a “vintage shop”, which means that each piece you find here is handpicked by Laura. On the racks, you’ll discover vintage items, sometimes dating back to the 20s or 40s, but always in excellent condition, for women, as well as for babies and children, handbags, pairs of shoes… All offered at very affordable prices, starting from €20.

KiloShop
I would like 3 kg of jeans and 200 g of t-shirts, please! An original concept for this vintage shop where you weigh your clothes like vegetables at the market: €20, €30, €40, or €60 per kilo depending on the selected pieces. Each price is marked with a color-coded sticker for better clarity, and scales are available in all stores to help you calculate more easily. Make sure to choose lighter clothes, so you don’t weigh too heavily on the scale... and on your wallet!

Bis Boutique Solidaire
For nearly 10 years, Bis Boutique Solidaire has been celebrating second-hand clothing with its ever-changing, high-quality, and fair-priced selection (no more than 20% of the original price). It’s a way to make thrift shopping accessible to everyone while also being supportive, as it employs people distant from the job market and sources textiles through partner associations. All unsold items are then donated to local associations that can redistribute them to those in need. In total, 7000 new pieces arrive every week at the 4 Parisian boutiques of the brand. Clothes, accessories, for men, women, children, luxury items, vintage, ready-to-wear... There’s something for every taste!

ZXSBN6DD3VZBGSY
Behind this totally unpronounceable shop name lies a thrift store like no other. Everything you find here (yes, absolutely everything) is priced at €0.95 on Thursdays, €1.50 on Wednesdays, and €2.85 the rest of the week. We dare you to find cheaper! But that's not all: for every 4 items you buy, the 5th one is free. You could say we've discovered the ultimate temple of good deals. With two locations in the heart of Paris and just a few minutes from Place de la Nation, ZXSBN6DD3VZBGSY gives us a rather unique decor: on one side a room dit's a bath that's more real than life itself (you can even search through real, thank goodness clean restrooms) and on the other side a wild jungle at the mercy of nature.

The Sneaky Thieves
Have you always dreamed of robbing a bank? Now’s your chance! At The Sneaky Thieves, we sneak into a bank vault with just one goal: to score the best deals. Here, prices change throughout the week: on Sundays, the day when all the shop's clothes are refreshed, everything...The store is at €4.50. Then, it drops a little each day: €3.50 on Monday, €2.50 on Tuesday, €1.50 on Wednesday, and down to €0.95 on Thursday. The price then goes back up to €4.50 on Friday since all the clothes in the shop are renewed again, and then €3.50 on Saturday… and so on. Since then, those sneaky thieves have multiplied in the 5th, with a shop resembling an underground tunnel, and in the 14th with a real penitentiary.
