A few weeks ago, Zeus, the metallic horse that galloped on the Seine during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, got everyone talking as he set off on tour so that as many French people as possible could admire him up close. And he’s not the only legacy of the Olympics making a comeback at the start of 2025. The Silver Knight, who carried the Olympic flag during the same ceremony on July 26th, is also making her grand return to the French stage. Since February 8, 2025, she has entered one of the largest museums in Paris.

The Fashion Museum to showcase a magnificent outfit

She thrilled us, kept us on the edge of our seats throughout the entire ceremony. The Silver Knight rides again!

the metallic horse was undoubtedly one of the most surprising elements of this memorable event, both for its beauty and the technical prowess it represents. It needed a museum worthy of its prestige to host it, and that’s the Palais Galliera, a true Parisian temple of fashion, that was chosen. Since February and until October 12, 2025, visitors can come to admire the outfit of this silver horsewoman as part of the exhibition Fashion in Motion.

A future piece in the museum's permanent collection

Designed by the talented young creator, Jeanne Friot, alongside leather specialist Robert Mercier, this stunning silver outfit draws inspiration from medieval armor as well as the attire worn by the hero of the video game Assassin’s Creed. While it’s currently part of a temporary exhibition, starting in October, the knight's attire will join the museum's permanent collection. The basin will also make its return to the Tuileries Garden from June 23 to September 14, 2025. Clearly, the story of the Paris 2024 Olympics is still being written!
