After its stop in Rome, the immersive exhibition Euphoria, art is in the air will soon set up at the Grand Palais, from June 6 to August 31. Brought to you by the Balloon Museum, which was behind the Pop Air exhibition at Villette in 2022, this project fits perfectly into the summer programming of this freshly renovated landmark, aiming to celebrate its return with a series of events for the general public.

Selfie land

In this case, there’s almost no doubt that Euphoria, art is in the air is attracting a fabulous crowd. A true immersive phenomenon, the exhibition showcases around twenty aerial installations imagined by international contemporary artists across 4000 square meters dedicated to the world of inflatables. Everyone will have the chance to snap a photo capturing the immense size of these structures, turning the Grand Palais into a playground that is, it must be said, particularly Instagrammable.

Among the exhibitors are the German entomologist Carsten Höller, the Argentine artist Marta Minujín, and also the trio Quiet Ensemble, Hyperstudio, and Roman Hill, who will present a pool and a ceiling made of black balls.

by an insert in the shape of white LEDs, or the designer Camille Walala with her giant bouncy castle in a French style. It’s a great way to educate the public about the art of inflatable creations, which bridges the gap between art and entertainment while continually pushing the boundaries of formats and interactions.

A Myriad of Activities at the Grand Palais d'Été

Almost a year after serving as a stunning backdrop for the sword-fighting events during the Paris Games, the Grand Palais will once again draw in Parisians and vacationers this summer with a festival – the "Grand Palais d'Été" – featuring a variety of cultural activities that are absolutely mind-blowing. It all kicks off with this exhibition, and continues with the gravity-defying show by tightrope walker Nathan Paulin (June 6-8), the carte blanche given to director Mohamed El Khatib (June 13-29), the intimate performance by designer Olivier Saillard (July 10-13), and a series of wild DJ sets ready to shake the nave and so much more.  Get ready
