Attention to all fans of colorful bricks, the famous LEGO® exhibition is coming back to Paris next December. Created by artist Nathan Sawaya, The Art of the Brick gathers over a million bricks, transformed into a hundred works of art. Tickets will be available starting from Tuesday, October 24. T-Rex, skulls, and Starry Night... Former lawyer in New York, Nathan Sawaya once gave up his career to dedicate himself to his passion: LEGO®. Since then, he has become an artist. In July 2011, he won the prize for the most creative and original artist at the Unique Art Awards in New York. He now spends his time creating exhibitions that showcase the internationally famous colorful bricks. After making a stop at Porte de Versailles and La Villette's Grande Halle with a theme centered on DC superheroes, the LEGO® exhibition is now coming back to Paris.>, The Art of the Brick is back with lots of other surprises.

This year, the artist's works will be exhibited in the Montparnasse district, in the former Galeries Lafayette. For this special edition, Nathan Sawaya presents over 100 sculptures that come straight from his imagination or are inspired by great works of art, causing both children and adults to reflect on the meaning of art, with a smile on their faces, as stated on the official website. Alongside a six-meter tall tyrannosaurus and various life-sized musical instruments, visitors will also find his reinterpretations of great masterpieces such as The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, and The Scream by Munch.

Millions of visitors around the world

In two exclusive rooms in Europe — exhibited there for the very first time — Nathan Sawaya offers his audience the opportunity to discover his collaboration with renowned artist and photographer Andrei Duman. Over 250 LEGO® sculptures of skulls and other human organs are presented in these rooms... Extremely popular, The Art of the Brick has already gathered over 10 million visitors worldwide. Ranked as one of the top 10 must-see exhibitions by CNN, visitors can find it in Toulouse, as well as in Atlanta and Raleigh (United States). At the end of each visit, spectators can explore a shop offering LEGO® sets and video games on the same theme, as well as a playroom (for both children and adults!) to create and unleash their creativity.
