Get ready to experience a journey between dream and reality this autumn. Just a stone's throw from the capital, in the vibrant town of Saint-Ouen, Chambre Noir, a new hybrid space dedicated to creation, is launching its first exhibition in collaboration with Braw Haus. From October 18 to 31, MIRAGES invites the public to discover twelve innovative artists from the digital and artificial intelligence worlds for an unprecedented communion. By offering an immersive exploration of art, technology, and imagination, Chambre Noir provides visitors with a unique plunge into the world of creative AI.

An immersive journey with renowned AI artists

Designed as an artist residency, MIRAGES shines a spotlight on daring digital experimentation. Twelve internationally acclaimed artists are exploring the limits...sites of AI through captivating visual installations. For example, you can find Kaoru Tanaka's connected piano, where the projected visuals dance to the rhythm of the keys, immersing the viewer in a visual symphony. Samy LaCrapule, a pioneer of virtual imagery, offers a contemporary vision of fashion and luxury, while the surreal works of Le Moon and Ethereal Gwirl challenge the boundary between the real and the fictional.

Visitors stroll among screens, projections, and sculptures in a nearly dreamlike atmosphere, where each piece reflects a “mirage” between the tangible and digital realms. The unique style of each artist, like Dr. Ivona Tau or Sharp Delusion, showcases the creative potential of AI to transform our perceptions of art.

A space dedicated to art and digital creativity

With its flexible 250 m² space, Chambre Noir aims to become a major player in the digital art scene at the gates of Paris. A multifaceted venue – both a photo and video studio, showroom, and exhibition space – it was created by the Agence Pavillon Noir, which has been operating in Saint-Ouen for 10 years. For Ghislain de la Chaise, its founder, Chambre Noir is “a unique new place to always respond.”at best to the issues of creation ». The President of Pavillon Noir states that « it seemed natural for them to collaborate with Braw Haus for the opening of Chambre Noir and their talented young AI artists » in order to « showcase their works » and offer the public the opportunity to «discover the creative potential of AI and digital ».

Justine Vilgrain, co-founder of Braw Haus, says that « MIRAGES is an exhibition that will allow everyone to dive into the creativity and art of this new wave of artists that we support in France as well as internationally. »
