Who has never dreamed of observing the Northern Lights for real? These atmospheric light phenomena that take the form of colorful veils in the dark night, also known as the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis, guarantee a magical moment for those lucky enough to witness them. Unfortunately for us, it is a very rare and difficult spectacle to observe in France, as the optimal conditions are generally not met.
However, this winter, it will indeed be possible to observe the Northern Lights within Parc Floral! How is this possible? Thanks to "L'Odyssée Lumineuse", an enchanting show presented by 1001 Lumières, from November 28th to January 7th.
Northern Lights in the heart of Paris
This year, there is no need to go all the way to Lapland to experience the beauty of the Northern Lights. In the midst of Parc Floral, a magical spectacle awaits, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty of the Aurora Borealis.Having the chance to observe the polar lights. Thanks to the magic of its installations, L'Odyssée Lumineuse will allow us to witness this fabulous show without even leaving Paris, right in the heart of Parc Floral. In the dark sky, the green lights blend with orange halos and promise us a moment as captivating as it is dazzling. Every hour, we can enjoy 30 minutes of a grandiose spectacle at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, and 9:30pm.
But that's not all! L'Odyssée Lumineuse also offers an enchanted and luminous labyrinth, with more than 1000 light sculptures and 30 thematic displays.

At the entrance, we are first greeted by a gigantic dinosaur skeleton, which you can even see from underneath. The exhibition then takes us on a discovery of dozens of endangered animals, such as mandrill monkeys, tigers, giant Galapagos turtles, polar bears, whale sharks, and red pandas. From the Egyptian snake biting its own tail to the sacred elephants in India, and even Mexico, where the celebration of the souls of the deceased is in full swing, L'Odyssée Lumineuse takes us on a real journey.

Created by Nicolas, Thierry, and Francesco Bouglione, three brothers who share a love for entertainment, this light display not only amazes us but also raises awareness about endangered biodiversity: "We have designed this magical and unique stroll so that visitors can immerse themselves in a fairy tale world. They will discover animals, legends, myths... They will embark on a journey around the world that celebrates the connections between humans, animals, and the environment!"
