Three Current Exhibitions

The Flowers of Yves Saint Laurent

What better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than to dive into a world full of flowers and colors ? The Yves Saint Laurent Museum invites you to explore a very special facet of the famous designer through a unique selection of pieces, chosen in partnership with the Moroccan counterpart of the institution. The exhibition creates a unique portrait of the couturier, highlighting his talent while also showcasing his influences and inspirations. Dresses and accessories come <.in dialogue with the work of many artists, including Marcel Proust, who shared with Saint Laurent a unique and unlimited passion for flowers.

The Douanier Rousseau, at the Atelier des Lumières

This start of the year, the Atelier des Lumières is dedicating its long program to the undisputed master of cubism, Picasso, before immersing visitors in the enchanting - and frankly spring-like! - universe of painter Henri Rousseau. This self-taught genius of naïve art invites you on a journey to the heart of the jungle, into the wild nature, and also into his daydreams, blending lush forests, exotic animals and scenes from Parisian life in an explosion of vibrant colors. The soundtrack, equally magnetic, transports you to a dreamlike world where the characters come to life before our eyes, in a setting worthy of the most beautiful tales.

Three Centuries in l'Isle Adam, at the Museum of Art and History Louis-Senlecq

Do you know l'Isle-d'Adam, this charming town in the Île-de-France region that was once the stronghold and holiday retreat of royal princes and some of the greatest noble families in France? Well, it tells its story through three centuries of history at the Museum of Art and History Louis-Senlecq. From a gr .and beauty, this exhibition takes you on a artistic journey from the 18th to the 20th century, where bucolic landscapes, charming architecture, and scenes of life unfold under the brush of great names like Jules Dupré and Paul Huet. Paintings, engravings, maps, and period objects tell the story of this inspiring city, a muse for painters and writers... And it creates a postcard of the past with gentle touches.

Three Upcoming Exhibitions

Plant Passion, at the Floral Park

If spring had an address, it would surely be the Floral Park. We love to stroll through hundreds of flowers and plants, and starting March 28, there's one more reason to enjoy this beautiful place: the exhibition Plant Passion. This exhibition celebrates...ve;bre the beauty and diversity of the plant world through art, celebrating Florence Gendre, a reference in botanical illustration. With scientific precision, her strokes beautifully capture every leaf, stem, and petal in fascinating compositions. Along the way, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and contemporary installations will offer you a reflection on our connection to plants and nature.

Deserts, at the Grande Galerie de l’Évolution

This one’s a bonus for the spring grumps: here’s a chance to forget that nature is blossoming by observing landscapes that are more... arid! It’s happening at the Grande Galerie de l’Évolution, starting April 2, for the exhibition Deserts. Through an immersive setting, you'll get to explore extreme territories where life adapts to harsh conditions.

hostile environments. Fossils, naturalized specimens, photographs, and interactive devices reveal the surprising richness of these ecosystems and the survival strategies of living beings in the face of drought. Even more striking, part of the exhibition tackles the impact of climate change on these fragile habitats.

David Hockney 25
, at the Louis Vuitton Foundation

He is undoubtedly the most French of British painters. David Hockney, who has been living in Normandy for a few years now, never stops proclaiming his love for the French landscapes, whether it’s through his words or his canvases. Yet, for a long time, he was the most Californian of Britons, far from the Norman countryside. An atypical evolution that we see in his works, highlighted for the upcoming exhibition of the Fondation Louis Vuitton pfor 5 months. A journey masterfully orchestrated in the halls of the institution where whirlwinds of colors and movements blend together to highlight the clean lines and serenity of the painter's works.
