The Editor

Artist and artisan today, she did not grow up in the field. With a master's degree in UX/UI Design from the Gobelins, Maryon has worked a variety of jobs throughout the capital, always with a passion for simple and subjective drawing. Fascinated by stained glass since her early childhood, she finally decided to leave everything behind in 2021 to undergo technical training at the Maison du Vitrail in Paris and create her graphic universe around her passions: tattooing, erotic art, and of course, glass. From this love, Tue l'amour was born and with it, the revival of stained glass. In a small apartment on the vast Boulevard Ney, we met her. In this simply furnished studio in the north of the 18th arrondissement, she creates colorful and engaging pop decoration stained glass day in and day out. Far from tradition, she brings a fresh, uninhibited, and irreverent perspective to stained glass. Instead of sanctified characters and typical mosaics, Maryon reveals all kinds of buttocks, vaginas, penises, and breasts that we proudly hang up.Happily in her living room. She showcases the body in all its forms, all its curves, all its sensitivity.

But with Tue l'amour, Maryon goes far beyond simple decorative creation. Proudly committed, she regularly collaborates with associations that are close to her heart, such as her colorful HIV stained glass, created with Supersero to fight against serophobia, or her exclusive creations for Pink October with the association specialized in tattooing on scars Sœurs d'Encre.

You can buy her creations directly on the Tue l'amour website, or you can even make them yourself! Every week, Maryon welcomes a small group of people into her workshop who are ready to cut and grind glass, set copper, solder with tin... In short, everything that makes stained glass truly special.and more specifically the Tiffany technique that the artisan practices daily. A very intense day, stretching from 9am to 6pm, but it will warm your heart when you hang your little masterpiece on the wall. Tue l'amour will be present at the market of creators from the Irrévérances exhibition, in the Amarrage gallery in Saint-Ouen, from May 3 to May 26. This is your chance to meet her in person, and we assure you, her soft and sunny energy will give you a boost!© Yona Romet, le Bonbon.
