Once you pass through the doors of this concept store in Batignolles, an enchanting experience is guaranteed.

A story of a mother, a daughter, and travels. Villa Gypsy is 2 women, 4 locations - 2 in Trouville, one in Honfleur, and one in Paris - and a multitude of treasures to discover. "We created Villa Gypsy with my mother 7 years ago," explains Céline. "I had just settled in Trouville after a long journey in Australia. When I returned, I wanted to open a place that we still considered to be nonexistent in France: a place to enjoy good coffee, eat well, with a selection of products from around the world." Located at 126 rue Legendre, just steps away from Batignolles, it is where Céline and Nathalie decided to fulfill their wish. In this old abandoned hammam of over 250m2, you can stroll between stands for children, fine grocery stands, furniture, decor, craftsmanship, and art - like masks brought back from Panama - or original Villa Gypsy products ranging from leather goods to soaps.Everything is decided during our trips. We have been to India, Asia, Brazil, and Denmark a lot. There is not a single trip from which we haven't brought something back," says Céline. In the same spirit, at Villa Gypsy, we sit down. For a quick bite between noon and 2 pm, choose a signature dish for only €9 or a daily dish focused on travel for €14.50, like vegetable curry or chicken tajine with preserved lemon. As for drinks? They too are focused on escape. "We serve tea imported from Australia, coffee roasted in Normandy, organic Normandy Kombucha, and also Normandy fruit juices... For everything we offer, I like to say that it's more of a lifestyle shop than just a coffee shop," states Céline. Coming to Villa Gypsy means opting for discovery through travel.
