Clearly, Zeus is still the talk of the town! The stunning metal horse that crossed the Seine during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics is back in the capital after touring all around France. You can admire this incredible craftsmanship at the Musée des Arts et Métiers from December 17, 2025, to March 29, 2026, as part of a unique exhibition titled Zeus, masterpiece of artisans.

A unique work at the crossroads of art and science
Through this exhibition, the MuAM aims to present to Parisians and visitors from around the world the full range of artisanal trades that were essential in crafting this metallic horse. They are coppersmiths, digital sculptors, fitters, gilders, engineers… and they have all come together to combine their expertise to create a work of astonishing precision, representing the perfect balance between art, science, and technology.

« Welcoming Zeus at the Museum of Arts and Crafts means bringing together heritage and contemporary creation. This masterpiece embodies French excellence and perfectly illustrates our mission: to pass on, inspire, innovate », says Bénédicte Fauvarque-Cosson, General Administrator of Cnam. « It symbolizes our desire to push boundaries and turn what we believe to be miracles into tangible progress», adds Paul Hudson, General Director of Sanofi, the company that owns Zeus. This will also be an opportunity to discover different snapshots of Zeus, captured at iconic locations where it has been exhibited across the four corners of France: the Palace of Versailles, Mont Saint-Michel, Mucem…
