7. The final stage of the Tour de France in Montmartre

Amateur·Cycling fans, this one's for you: on July 27th, the final stage of the Tour de France will take place in Montmartre, on the hill and Rue Lepic. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first finish of the Tour on the Champs-Élysées, the riders will climb Montmartre three times, a first in the race's history. They will then tackle the last six kilometers leading to the iconic Paris avenue, which has been the final arrival point since 1975. It's a wonderful way to revive the legacy of the Olympics, as on August 3rd, 2024, the riders will pass through a particularly bustling part of Montmartre, giving us legendary images of the artists' hill!

8. The Outdoor Cinema at La Villette

Last May, we were joyfully informed about the return of the legendary outdoor cinema at La Villette after a forced break last year due to the Olympics. Our excitement only grew with the full announcement of the program, which makes us want to camp out there all summer long. Every day, starting at 6 PM, we spread out our best blanket for the Kids’ Show, the perfect opportunity to (re)discover animation gems like Kirikou and the Wild Beasts, Happy Feet, Samuel or Madagascar. Then at 9 PM, it's time for some classic films of the 7th art : La La Land, Barbie, Elvis, Mamma Mia!... A pop, cult, and dance-filled cocktail that you absolutely must enjoy, especially after exploring the immersive exhibit Into The Light, available until August 31st at the Grande Halle de La Villette.
