The Editor

It's a world of its own when it comes to figurines. An ancient art, meticulous, that has crossed eras and cultures, immersing us for 3 months in the Old Post Office of Versailles. Here, imagination and craftsmanship come together to offer us exceptional pieces that will resonate with all generations, bringing stars to everyone’s eyes and proving that no matter the size, miniature art gives us the grandiose.

An immersion in the heart of History

To kick off this impressive presentation, let's take a little trip through time. The new cultural venue in the western suburbs of Paris invites us to relive the greatest moments of History through pieces of stunning precision. Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Age of Enlightenment, the Napoleonic era, the Wild West, and even the world wars, nothing is overlooked. Our favorites? On one hand...

;, the complete reconstitution of a medieval town brought to life by scenes of daily life, complemented by lectures about fortresses. On the other side, a model of the Battle of Waterloo — the largest in the world — featuring no less than 22,000 figurines out of the 25,000 displayed in the exhibition.

Pop Culture in the Spotlight

Next up, the Old Post invites us to leave the past behind and focus on current culture, diving into manga, superheroes, and fantastical worlds. Here you’ll find a delightful array of figures featuring beloved characters from Marvel, the quirky Marsupilami, and even heroes from manga. This exhibition will transport you to the magical and endless world of Tolkien or into the wild universe of Warhammer, a true icon in the realm of miniatures. To enrich this vibrant program, various workshops will welcome you to unlock all the mysteries of this art that has risen to the top ranks.
