Michèle Bernier and Francis Perrin, at the Théâtre de Paris
This is THE hilarious and breathtaking comedy you need to check out right now at the Théâtre de Paris. With Lily & Lily, step into Hollywood in 1935. On one side, there’s Lily Da Costa, a hotshot star who’s as talented as she is devoted to luxury, alcohol, and men. On the other side, you have her twin sister, Deborah, who lives in Minnesota, married to a rather stern pastor. To try to steer Lily back on the right path, Deborah doesn’t hesitate to leave her routine life and step into the shoes of her famous sister, who looks just like her. It’s a modern twist on the play by Barillet and Gredy, where Michèle Bernier shines alongside Francis Perrin.

It had been 25 years since François Cluzet had been away from the stage. And it’s in Another Divine Day, a one-man show that is truly moving, that he makes his grand return to the theater. Directed by Emmanuel Noblet, Another Divine Day introduces us to Robert, a therapist and essayist. Tired of seeing his patients stuck, he decides to embrace a new method focused on action rather than introspection. While he is interned in a psychiatric hospital, he shares with us his desire to change the world. Madness or radicalism?

But this return doesn’t quite go as planned, and the family tensions start to bubble up, preventing Louis from confessing the truth before he leaves. On stage, Astrid Bayiha, Céleste Brunnquell, Vincent Dedienne, Christiane Millet, and Loïc Riewer play the members of this family. Clovis Cornillac, at the Théâtre de la Michodière
Head over to the Théâtre de la Michodière to discover Mur Mure, a play written by Lilou Fogli, directed by Jérémie Lippmann, and adapted from the film A Little, Big, Blinded. Alongside Laurence Arnée (Machine), Arnaud Maillard (Artus, Machine's best friend), and Boris Terral (Grégoire, Machine's piano teacher), the actors...
Clovis Cornillac and Lilou Fogli bring back to life their respective characters from the feature film on stage. On one side, there’s Machin: an inventor with a particularly quirky personality, a bit of a misanthrope, who is all about one thing: silence. To achieve this, he doubles down on creativity to scare off his neighbors. On the other side, there’s Machine, a talented pianist who moves into the adjacent apartment and turns the hermit’s daily life upside down. They couldn’t be more different; they don’t see each other, don’t know each other, yet fate has decided their paths would cross. A touching adaptation of the 2014 film, don’t miss it starting January 23 at the Théâtre de la Michodière.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
