The Editor

Once again this year, Paris Photo is set to dazzle the capital, thanks to an exceptional 29th edition. Beyond showcasing the spectacular evolution of this art over the decades, this major event will be the perfect opportunity to explore the role and impact of this medium today. On the agenda, four days dedicated to photography, blending historical and contemporary works, emerging and established artists, award ceremonies, performances, and much more.

A Rich Programme

Since 1997, each year, Paris Photo shines a spotlight on hundreds of galleries. And 2026 is no exception, as this new edition welcomes no fewer than 246 exhibitors, including 199 galleries, and especially 80 new participants, coming from 38 different countries. From November 12 to 15, the participants will be divided into five distinct sectors: Main &md

ash; including major Prisms projects — Voices, Digital, Emergence and Editions.

At the heart of the nave, the Principal sector will revisit the origins of photography, welcoming 152 galleries, several of which specialize in historical photography, while Voices and Digital will explore how the medium has transformed over the years. Finally, Emergence prwill feature around twenty projects dedicated to a new generation of artists, while the Editions sector will showcase 48 publishing houses from 17 countries.

Unmissable experiences

This year again, the Elles x Paris Photo program will be presented to continue maximizing the visibility of women photographers. A program that, since its launch in 2018, has allowed the proportion of women artists at the fair to grow from 20 to 38%! For this anniversary edition, Aldeide Delgado will serve as curator through a presentation centered around the ocean.

But the big news in the lineup is an unprecedented presentation of works from the Centre Pompidou, titled Reveal.
