Parallel Worlds: the new season of Forum des Images that will take you on an imaginative journey

Parallel worlds. Here, we will mainly talk about Alice, mirrors, and rabbits. Before delving into quantum theory, time loops, and other existential bifurcations that open up an infinity of stories, the Forum des Images invites you to follow the white rabbit. From Jean Cocteau to David Lynch, from Alice in Wonderland to The Matrix, and through The Wizard of Oz, this Parisian institution takes us on a journey through parallel worlds through cinema, video games, comics, and digital art. The program includes numerous screenings: Lost Highway, Wild at Heart, Orpheus, Pan's Labyrinth, The Chronicles of Narnia, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and many more... But that's not all! Every Tuesday, the Forum des Images offers a documentary night where you can discover the... [text ends]images of a feminist collective, Les Insoumuses, in 1975, a portrait of the jazz pianist and composer Thelonious Monk, or even a documentary that explores a still little-known period of the colonization of Algeria by France, between 1830 and 1848. A lovely program through which the documentary proves that it is the field of all possibilities. Finally, you will have the opportunity to attend - and even participate - in numerous encounters with various cinema actors, such as on Friday, February 24th with a cinema class on the World Behind Stranger Things alongside Sarah Ohana, or on February 22nd with a video game session on the theme of the film Shining, followed by the screening of the film (restricted to those aged 12 and above).
