The Editor

If there’s one time of the year you need to take a stroll through the Parisian art galleries, it’s right now! On Friday, May 23, Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, over 70 galleries in the Île-de-France region and 150 artists are coming together for the Paris Gallery Weekend. This is an event open to everyone, completely free, and 100% accessible, inviting you to (re)discover artworks, their creators, and art spaces.

The Entire Capital Mobilized

In total, 77 galleries in Paris and the Île-de-France region (Saint-Ouen, Pantin, Romainville) will open their doors to the public for this cultural event. In the Marais, in Belleville, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, or even in Matignon, it's the perfect opportunity for a unique artistic journey. For instance, at Galerie 8 + 4, the exhibition Dream of Particles will offer an immersive experience blending architecture, science fiction, and visual poetry. At Galerie Ariane C-Y, Garden of Simples will showcase sculptures inspired by the plant world, crafted from raw materials. Over at Galerie d’Art Maggiore g.a.m., the exhibit The Encounter Between the Everyday and the Extraordinary will...Close the works of Giorgio Morandi and the sculptures of Bertozzi & Casoni. Eight "Zoom" paths will let you choose the exhibitions based on their themes: photography, drawing, women artists, modern art, the emerging scene, and more!

Exciting Activities Planned Around the Exhibitions

In addition to the fabulous exhibitions happening in various galleries, there will be plenty of highlights – openings, performances, discussions, round tables, and cocktails – organized throughout. Young audiences will also get dedicated activities just for them. Whether you're solo or with family, the Paris Gallery Weekend is the artistic celebration you won’t want to miss!
