The Editor

It's a real open-air museum that you can discover along the banks of the Saint-Denis canal. Thanks to Street Art Avenue, outdoor artworks multiply and offer a colorful artistic landscape accessible to all. Since 2016, the walls of Seine-Saint-Denis have come to life. Until now, about thirty creations accompanied passers-by, but starting from June 14, 2023, 15 new ones will be born.

An open-air exhibition

From La Villette to Stade de France, the street art route is to be discovered over a 5 km stretch. Year after year, the project, initially launched in 2016, progresses and celebrates artists with eclectic techniques. Bridges and facades are to graffiti artists what linen canvases are to painters in galleries we are used to seeing. These industrial and raw materials are just as many supports bringing charm and color to the city.

Timeless creations

The works of the artists will have a great visibility during the 2024 Olympic Games. In fact, the Seine-Saint-Denis city will be the most important connection point to transport sports equipment to the capital.

Whether it is on foot, by bike, alone or accompanied, it is possible to visit the canal banks autonomously thanks to the Saint-Denis Tourism Office.

So mark your calendars for June 14, 2023 and get ready to immerse yourself in this open-air street art museum! Street Art Avenue Starting from June 14, 2023 Canal de Saint-Denis More information
