A place where the business world blends with the world of art, that’s the expanded description of Altaviarama. In reality, this new art center opening its doors on September 13, 2025, in Saint-Ouen, is so much more. Nestled within the offices of Altavia, a family-run international communication group founded by Raphaël Pati, this space dedicated to artistic and contemporary creation stands out as a true innovation, showcasing the hybrid nature of this historic building constructed in the 19th century.

A place that blends modernity and industrial past
Between 2000 and 2001, this former industrial building was entrusted to architects Pierre-Yves Vinceneux and Christian Lévy, who transformed it into a workspace filled with light, while still honoring its original soul.
In 2022, a second phase of transformation was carried out by the agency Maximum Architecture. They added a more contemporary touch, where friendliness and modernity reign supreme, with the creation of a café, a library, a gym... and now a dedicated space for artistic creation. Every material used has been carefully and thoughtfully selected for the “Papillon” project. Among them, metallic pieces were salvaged...

A first exhibition dedicated to a master of architecture
To celebrate this freshly transformed space, a major first exhibition will take place from September 13 to November 30, 2025. Titled The World of Paolo Santini, it will focus on this architect, designer, and artist who made his mark during the second half of the 20th century. Free admission with reservation, this exhibition will offer a unique dive into the work, genius, and creative process of this Italian artist.
