There are some anniversaries that we must celebrate with great fanfare. This year, it’s the 100th anniversary of the Art Deco movement being celebrated across the capital. And Louis Vuitton, a key player that had a major turning point in the 1920s, is naturally joining the party.
It’s at the cultural space LV Dream that the house invites you to discover its exhibition Louis Vuitton Art Deco starting September 26, 2025. A historical and free dive into the unique universe and craftsmanship of the brand. A must-see this autumn!

From the beginnings of the House founded by Gaston-Louis Vuitton in 1854 to the latest creations, over 150 years of history unfold before our eyes through eight thematic rooms. Almost 300 objects — iconic trunks, leather goods, haute couture dresses, archive photographs, and more — showcase the brand's ability to renew itself, adapt to customs, practices, and modern means of transportation, and innovate in practicality throughout the 1920s. Wardrobe trunks, shoe cabinets, Milano garment carriers… Vuitton’s creations maintain their geometric and harmonious lines while evolving to meet a client’s needs.

An Art Deco Influence That Still Endures Today
The connection between Vuitton creations and Art Deco was forged in the 1920s and has only grown stronger. The penultimate room, titled “Colors, Shapes, and Materials,” serves as a vibrant testament to this. By showcasing a wide variety of bags, this exhibit presents a broad palette of colors, as well as bold materials used to bring to life designs that stand out as true works of art.

A century later, the Art Deco spirit echoes in the creations of Louis Vuitton, allowing for a unique dialogue between the Roaring Twenties aesthetic and contemporary designs. This is especially evident in the 2020 Cruise collection, envisioned by the Artistic Director of Women's collections, Nicolas Ghesquière, as well as the silhouettes created by Men's Creative Directors such as Pharrell Williams, Marc Jacobs, and Kim Jones. It proves that the blend of heritage and modernity serves as a springboard for limitless creativity. The exhibition is freely and freely accessible, by reservation, from Tuesday to Sunday !
