Back-to-school season means new beginnings! And it's on the Left Bank where things are happening. Starting in September, Kilometre Zero is about to launch. What is it? A brand new cultural destination, along the Seine at the level of Montebello Port, at the foot of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral. Music, shows, literature… Let us tell you all about this exciting new "venue" that will open its doors on September 10th!

Making Montebello Harbor a destination in its own right

Kilometre Zero is the result of a partnership between Le Son de la terre, La Nouvelle Seine, Nanna and Batobus. The goal is to breathe new life into Montebello Harbor and transform it into a place where you can stroll around as much as you can stop by to catch a concert, see a show, or take part in literary events.

A rich and eclectic evening

And the program for opening night promises to be particularly rich! With Le Son de la Terre, we kick off with a concert from the Saints-Pères Band fanfare from 6pm to 8pm, followed by Romain Vuillemin Hispanic Quartet who will transport us through jazz and bolero melodies. Starting from

10pm, featuring an electro-pop DJ set

At Nanna, the new literary barge, the evening kicks off with poetry writing on the theme of Paris at 6pm, readings of short poems at 8pm, and an italo-disco electro DJ set at 10pm to close out the night in style.

Batobus will offer three sessions of its musical cruise around the islands, accompanied by violinist Aurore Voilqué, at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM. While La Nouvelle Seine hasn't yet revealed its evening program, it will certainly be just as spectacular as the four other venues. You'll also have the chance to get your collector passport stamped at each destination and enjoy a complimentary drink! Are you coming?
