Paris, a city renowned internationally for its refined gastronomy and influence in the 7th art, finally has its festival bringing together these two worlds! Founded in Moscow by Katerina Drozdova in 2018, EatFilm, a documentary film festival around the table, is making its entrance in France with a very first edition from June 11 to 14, with chef Manon Fleury as the ambassador. For a long weekend, food lovers and cinephiles in the capital are invited to gather between the trendy new spot in the 18th Le Ciney and the Jardin des Traverses, an agri-cultural association nestled along the Petite Ceinture.
Cinema Takes a Seat at the Table
With EatFilm, ten documentaries from seven different countries are unveiled before our eyes, all centered around a simple theme: using the table as a starting point to discuss life. From a porridge world championship in the Highlands to the markets of La Réunion,

See You at Ciney!
Ten stories, one common theme: understanding life and its value through what we eat. The EatFilm festival invites us to experience this cinematic and culinary adventure in a brand new Parisian spot: Le Ciney. Cinema, restaurant, grocery store, performance venue… This new 1,500 m2 social and cultural complex opened its doors at the end of April on Boulevard Ney. The perfect place to host the event! The on-site restaurant offers chef residencies, featuring dishes that resonate with each film screened throughout the day. A delightful experience that extends the pleasure from your eyes to your taste buds. And the cherry on top? The festival also features a special screening on Friday, June 12 at the Jardin des Traverses, with a free outdoor screening!
