The Editor

In 2006, Jamel Debbouze, already a key figure in French humor, launched the Jamel Comedy Club on Canal+. This concept, first televised and then brought to life on stage in front of an audience, has showcased some of the biggest names in comedy today: Fabrice Eboué, Thomas Ngijol, Alban Ivanov, Blanche Gardin, Inès Reg, Ilyes Djadel, and Paul Mirabel, just to name a few. And one thing is for sure, judging by the year that just passed, this talent factory isn't about to run out of steam anytime soon!

A Successful 2025 Ahead

If Jamel Debbouze has managed to create one of the most iconic comedy clubs in the capital, it certainly has to do with the personalities he has managed to bring to light through a well-oiled system. An aspiring comedian can sign up for the stage « new

ux talents » to perform one evening and then come back to improve while receiving advice from a artistic director. They are then integrated into the now-famous group, whose 2024/2025 promotion has just toured France. During a successful tour of the Zéniths, presented by Jamel himself, it was 15 comedians who took to the stage to question us, shake us up, and most importantly, make us cry with laughter.

But what gives this comedy club its reputation is also its eclecticism. So, if the tour has thrilled the crowds, the same can be said for the 14th season of the show aired on Canal last June and July, which featured prestigious guests in each episode, such as producer Mosimann, ventriloquist Jeff Panacloc, actress Marilou Berry, and rapper Youssoupha, creating moments at the crossroads of arts, generations, and topics.

A festival of young talent on stage

Another factor in the endless success of the Jamel Comedy Club? Its ability to continuously renew itself by welcoming new promising artists season after season, while offering us hilarious shows throughout the year of impeccable quality. Because yes, if you missed .your chance to see the troupe on stage during the tour, no worries, they perform regularly in Paris.

From Thursday to Sunday, in rotation, 6 comedians from the troupe take turns on stage for 1 hour and 30 minutes, seamlessly weaving together sketches. It's a great opportunity to discover rising stars like Eliott Doyle, Tom Baldetti, Léandre, Sarah Lélé, Lala, Younes Hanifi, and Umut Koker, alongside the core members Nash, Antek, Julien Santini, Nordine Ganso, Meyrem Benoua, Redouanne Harjane, Ayoub Marceau, and Farid Chamekh.

And to explore even further, check out the latest shows like Eliott Doyle in C’est quoi la Suite?, Impro Club (a stage with a few comedians and total improvised fun), The Random Family (hosted by Marie de Brauer, Guiguipop, and Etienne Lautrette), and the BlindTest Comedy Night (the first night where stand-up meets the blind test!). Portugal C. Comedy Club (a show in French related to Portuguese-speaking countries) or the Dating Comedy Show (meeting on stage presented by a comedian).
