The Crow and the Fox, The Grasshopper and the Ant, The Oak and the Reed, or even The Town Rat and the Country Rat, unless you grew up in a cave, no matter your age, you surely couldn't have missed the Fables of La Fontaine during your school years. These short tales often feature animals, with morals that stick in our minds for decades to come. And starting in September 2025, these unique poems will come to life before your eyes just a stone's throw from the Champs-Élysées.

A Journey Through the Grand Century...

In September, as the leaves gently start to turn a lovely orange color and students head back, with varying degrees of cheer, to school, why not also dive back into your primary school years?re ? For that, head over to the 8th, right next to the most beautiful avenue in the world, where the Immersive Cities invite you to discover their brand new immersive experience.

A space of over 1000 m², where the most famous fables of La Fontaine will come to life before your eyes. Blending storytelling, technology, and museum displays, the institution offers you a fun and educational journey lasting 1.5 hours to travel back in time to the era when Louis XIV reigned over France from Versailles. Unique recreations, 360° video projections, light games, and special effects, 3D sound spatialization, and even an olfactory trail—every means is employed to make you dream.

... supported by a star-studded cast

To perfect this already extremely appealing project, an amazing team has been assembled by Cités immersives. Laurent Stocker, from the Comédie-Française, is one of them!

Sure! Here’s the translation: "That will be Jean de La Fontaine. Alongside him to portray the main characters will be Alexandre Astier (the Lion), Arielle Dombasle (the Wolf), Marie s’Infiltre (the Frog), Charles Berling (the Fox), and also Axelle Saint-Cirel, spotted on the roof of the Grand Palais during the opening ceremony of the Olympics, as the Crow. For the musical atmosphere and sound creations, the direction will be handled by none other than the collective Bon Entendeur, whose reputation needs no introduction.
