Do you think you know Paris like the back of your hand? We beg to differ! The city is full of hidden gems, surprises, and mysteries… It would probably take a lifetime to uncover all its secrets. Well, during the entire renovation period of the Centre Pompidou, themed urban tours are being organized in the Beaubourg district, to help you discover all its facets

Visits by the lecturers from the Centre Pompidou

Dedicated to "Outdoor Art", "The History of the Beaubourg Plateau", and "Contemporary Architecture", these urban tours led by lecturers from the Centre Pompidou invite you to (re)discover Beaubourg from one end to the other, in a brand new light. Each tour lasts 1.5 hours and is offered for 12 euros.

Several urban visits each month

Whatever the chosen theme, the meeting point is always at the Pompidou House in the 3rd arrondissement. The open-air art experience allows us to focus on the artworks surrounding the Pompidou Center. This visit will be offered on March 28, April 4 and 25, May 16 and 30, June 20, and July 4, 2026.

The History of the Beaubourg Plateau will take you on a leap through time, allowing you to understand the history of the neighborhood's transformation throughout the 20th century. A time travel experience awaits on March 28, April 18, May 2 and 23, June 6 and 27, and July 18, 2026.

Finally, contemporary architecture allows you to rediscover the architectural upheavals that have transformed the neighborhood's aesthetic between the 20th and 21st centuries, from the construction of the Centre Pompidou to the modernization of Les Halles, for example. Visit to explore on April 4, 18, and 25, May 2, 16, and 30, June 6, 20, and 27, and July 4 and 18, 2026.
