Since 2018, 100% L'Expo showcases a snapshot of young French creativity across the over 3,000 m2 of the Grande Halle in La Villette. Every year, a special opportunity is given to a selection of recently graduated artists, highlighting a multitude of unique and committed works. It's a real stepping stone for many, and an exciting cultural boost for Parisians. Join us from April 8th to 26th at La Villette!

Our emerging artists featured at La Villette

For this new 2026 edition, 100% L'Expo brings together around thirty graduates from 19 French art schools (out of the 40 that exist). For many, 100% L'Expo is their first experience in a large-scale group exhibition. For us, it reveals a true portrait of contemporary practices unfolding before our eyes, with exciting new voices and perspectives!

In this way, La Villette positions itself as a supporter of emerging artists. It allows Parisians to engage with innovative artistic proposals that question our relationship with the world and the ways we create art today. Through the exhibited works, we explore the challenges of...tistics, political, and societal issues that occupy the early careers of these young artists under 30, filled with challenges, opportunities, and chances.

An April program celebrating contemporary art

To accompany 100% L’Expo, La Villette also offers a wonderful lineup, featuring performances and live shows. Don’t miss the show In relation to whom? by Palestinian artists Marah Haj Hussein and Nur Garabli on April 9 and 10. It’s a reimagining of choreographic language that delves into the journeys of the dancers, as well as the intimate legacies passed down from their mothers and grandmothers.

To complete the lineup, La Villette invites us to the big weekend of performances on April 18 and 19. With a wide variety of forms spread across several spaces, the event highlights the dynamism and diversity of performative practices within emerging creation, bringing together both the exhibition artists and invited guests, who will collaboratively extend the installations of 100% L’Expo.
