The Editor

The contemporary drawing fair is back at Carreau du Temple! For its 16th edition, Drawing Now Art Fair will welcome no less than 73 carefully selected international galleries, showcasing over 300 artists and nearly 2,000 contemporary artworks. The program includes an exhibition exploring the realm of femininity, artist conferences and interviews, performances, and the Drawing Now Prize ceremony.

Established in 2007, Drawing Now Art Fair is Europe's first contemporary art fair dedicated to drawing. Whether you're an emerging or established artist, this is the ideal place to discover new talents to add to your list. Whether you're a collector, art lover, or simply curious, you'll have the opportunity to explore several thousand artworks representing the diverse world of drawing from the past 50 years.

Paris, capital of drawing

During the same week, it is not only the Drawing Now Art Fair that will attract drawing enthusiasts from all over the world to Paris. Many renowned contemporary artists will showcase their stunning creations at the fair, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant and diverse world of drawing.

But the event is not just about admiring the artworks. Drawing Now Art Fair will also be an opportunity to exchange with artists and gain insights into their creative processes. Visitors will have the chance to engage in conversations and discover the stories behind the drawings.

Furthermore, Drawing Now Art Fair will feature a series of talks and conferences, providing a platform for artists and experts to share their thoughts and knowledge. Topics such as performance art, the role of women in the art world, and the transformative power of drawing will be explored, adding depth and meaning to the exhibition.

With its rich program and international participation, Drawing Now Art Fair solidifies Paris' position as a global hub for contemporary drawing. It is a must-visit event for art enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone interested in the intriguing world of drawing.

But not just one, but two fairs that you can attend! From March 22nd to 27th, the Salon du Dessin is also taking place at the heart of the Palais Brongniart and joining forces with Drawing Now Art Fair to offer a common ticketing system to their audiences. A unique proposal brought together by the 111 galleries and exhibitors present at both events, making Paris the capital of drawing in the month of March!
