Tributes to the amazing artist that was David Lynch — who passed away in January 2025 — are pouring in one after another. After a concert that highlighted the music from his films at the Théâtre du Châtelet last March, now the Le Louxor cinema in the 10th arrondissement will dedicate a day to the filmmaker on Monday, May 25, 2026. The program includes plenty of carefully selected music related to the theme « Awake Dream », which was so dear to David Lynch.

He’s known for his must-see films like Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, and Mulholland Drive, as well as his series Twin Peaks. But beyond being a filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor, David Lynch was also a remarkable musician — with three albums to his name. Music has indeed played a crucial role in each of his creations.
On Monday, May 25, 2026, Les Balades Sonores will set up their turntables at Louxor for a day dedicated à Lynch’s music.
